Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. We are not responsible for any information stored by third party services which we use, for example, payment gateways. We, therefore, urge you to read and understand their security statements and privacy policies. If we feel your information is at risk we maintain and reserve the right to delete any personal information we feel is at risk as a precautionary measure or in the unlikely event such data becomes compromised. Should your personal information be breached then we will notify you within 72 hours. It is your responsibility to ensure we have the up to date contact details and check that your email has not filtered out any communications from us. In addition, to maintain your account security we recommend you take the following measures to use a complex password of at least 8 characters with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. We recommend you should change your password at least once every three months. Never disclose or share your password or account details with another person. Once more, our team will never ask you for your password and will only ever ask you to verify the security details on your account.

SECTION 17 - BILLING


When purchasing items with Studentnomic any online payments are processed by Stripe. Alternatively we will process payments throughs BACS or Bank Transfer subject to invoice conditions. Our standard invoice terms is payment within 14 days. Late payments (those exceeding 30 days from the point of invoice) will be liable to charges on a late payment and at our discretion incur a suspension of service. SECTION 18 - OTHER TERMS


When using and registering for Studentnomic services, including but not limited to memberships or purchases you undertake certain set liabilities: 

- You will not use Studentnomic services for illegal activities or uses You will not use Studentnomic services for offensive, inappropriate, group specific or discriminative propaganda
- You will not make false, inaccurate, damaging or detrimental claims about Studentnomic
- You will notify Studentnomic of any complaints or dissatisfactions before taking further actions and must allow 21 days for any actions, responses or otherwise to be given
- You will not intentionally take advantage of Studentnomic in an unfair, unlawful or harmful manner
- You will not breach the rights or intellectual property and propriety rights of Studentnomic
- You accept full liability and responsibility for any actions you make whilst using Studentnomic services, even if on behalf of an organisation or another person
- You accept that Studentnomic reserves the rights to hold multiple people and/or organisations accountable for liability should it feel that multiple people or organisations were responsible for a particular incident 
- You understand and agree to be legally bound by the terms of service agreement and privacy policy 
- Organisations undertake liability for the activities on the account and are responsible for the administration of their accounts and it's uses.
